MAX793TESE+The MAX793TESE+ is a 3V/3.3V microprocessor supervisory circuit in 16 pin NSOIC package. The microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit will monitor and control the activities of +3V/+3.3V µPs by providing backup-battery switchover. The backup-battery voltage can exceed VCC and permit the use of 3.6V lithium batteries in systems using 3V to 3.3V for VCC. This device is used in embedded controllers, intelligent controllers, battery powered computers.

• Fixed reset trip precision supply voltage monitor
• Chip enable gating and manual reset input
• Reset assertion to VCC = 1V
• Battery freshness seal, battery OK output
• Uncommitted voltage monitor for power-fail or low-battery warning
• Independent watchdog timer (1.6s timeout)
• Active-high, push-pull / active low, open-drain reset type with reset threshold of 3.085V
• onboard gating of chip-enable signals, 200ms propagation delay
